What free covers

The four free plans are the daily rhythms most people start with, and many stay on them. 16:8 is the most popular, tested in several trials 1,2. The app suggests a plan from a few questions, and you can change it any time. Nothing about your daily fast is held back: the timer, every stage, your reminders, your streak and your full history are all free.

What Pro adds

  • Advanced plans: 20:4, OMAD, and 24-hour and 36-hour fasts.
  • Custom goals: fast for any number of hours from 12 to 72.
  • Deep insights in History: your trends, your daily rhythm, your best and toughest days, the stages you've reached and your mood by fast length.
  • The Learn library: all 23 guides, from beginner to expert, each with a quiz and its sources.
  • And it supports Sunny: Pro helps keep Fasting Tracker growing.

Longer fasts aren't for everyone. Before a 24- or 36-hour fast, read about extended fasting, and talk to your doctor first if you have a medical condition or take regular medication.

Monthly, yearly or lifetime

  • Monthly: renews each month. Cancel any time.
  • Yearly: starts with a one-week free trial, then renews each year.
  • Lifetime: one purchase, and Pro is yours for good.

The app shows the price in your currency before you pay. Every purchase goes through Apple and is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your Apple Account's subscriptions, or in Fasting Tracker: tap the Pro card at the top of Settings, then Manage subscription. To avoid paying after the free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

No account needed

You don't sign up for Pro, either. Apple handles the payment, and RevenueCat confirms the purchase without knowing who you are. If you reinstall the app, or Pro doesn't show on a new iPhone or iPad, tap Upgrade to Pro at the top of Settings, then Restore.

If Pro ends

Nothing you've logged is lost: your fasts, moods, notes, streaks and badges stay. Insights and the Pro guides lock again, and if you were on a Pro plan, Fasting Tracker moves you to 18:6. It never changes a fast that's running.

Try it first

Start with the free app and see how a few fasts feel. When you want more, tap Upgrade to Pro at the top of Settings, a locked plan or guide, or Unlock all insights in History. Or read the free guide, Intermittent fasting 101, here first.

A note on health

Fasting Tracker is designed for general wellness and is not a medical device. Fasting is not right for everyone. If you are pregnant, diabetic, have a history of eating disorders or take medication, talk to your doctor first, and before any extended fast.
